Business Name Generators

Here are some of the apps I used to help come up with a name

None of them really help me but gave me enough ideas about it.

Username availability

This is a crucial and one of the hardest ones which are to find an available username across all social media platforms. However, there is an easier way to do this. You can use the following tools to check over 90 different social media accounts in one go.

Finally, once you have cleared those things time to comes to buy the name. Here are some of the places I usually buy domains from, would suggest getting it from an established domain provider.

Google Domains

Email client

This is the next major part of the process is setting up your email client. There are many other options but I see three major players that tend to go for

Gmail account
Google Suite — Starts from $4/user per month onwards and is cheaper and does the basics and more including google meet, drive, etc
Microsoft Suite — Almost double the price of google suite but has a lot more features, is comprehensive with its offering, and has many more enterprise features
Zoho suite — Cheapest of all starts from first 5 users free and after that $1/user per month.

I went for Zoho mail account as mostly I plan to use slack for interactions and would hardly be using emails for anything including staff. Apart from that things like zoom, dropbox, etc could be easily shared by group mail accounts to save cost. It's a startup it's allowed! ;-)
